About Claude VonStroke: As one of the defining figures in modern house music, Claude VonStroke built the Dirtybird brand into a global force before selling the label in 2022, helping shape the evolution of U.S. tech house and introducing early releases from artists including FISHER, John Summit and Eats Everything.
Now he steps into a new chapter with Wrong Number, a project rooted in stripped-back late-night club music, intimate spaces, and a more personal approach to songwriting. Recorded at his home in Los Angeles, the album moves away from festival maximalism and closer toward tension, groove, and atmosphere.
With Wrong Number, the focus shifts inward and abandons the Las Vegas and Ibiza big-room commercial house scenes he never wanted to be a part of. Claude’s fifth album features vocals performed entirely by members of the VonStroke family, bringing a rare sense of intimacy to a catalog historically centred around club functionality.
All of this aligned at the Mixmag Lab LA at 1720 in the Fashion District of Los Angeles for an unforgettable night.
