ABOUT THE CORNER OF MY ROOM The Corner of My Room is the project of 20 year-old Indonesian musician Callystha. Under the name The Corner of My Room - which directly references the grassroots musical production from her own bedroom - the Indonesia-based artist initially begun uploading her music on YouTube, simply because "it's free and easy to use". Since her first video, Callystha has maintained a steady release of over 65 songs on her YouTube account, with the most popular recent upload amassing over 80,000 views. The Corner of My Room's uploads range from full covers (featuring Callystha singing vocals and playing every instrument), solo bass covers, as well as more recently beginning a new musical journey with the upload of original songs.
Studying the starkly contrasting subject of economics at university, she "doesn't currently consider [herself] a professional musician by any means", however is dedicated to becoming an even more prolific producer and musician with her infectious groove and unmistakable passion for music.
